Willow Tree School Sports Partnership
Willow Tree School Sports Partnership
For over 20 years, the Willow Tree School Sport Partnership has been supporting schools in Ealing with the delivery of high quality Physical Education and school sport. The partnership is a not for profit educational organisation, hosted by Willow Tree Primary School. The partnership are firmly committed to providing all young people with the very best education in physical literacy. Furthermore, WTSSP provide schools with high quality support to provide all young people with the opportunities to:
- Develop lifelong participation and lead an active, healthy lifestyle
- Realise their full potential and be the best they can be
- Support all young people to have the physical literacy to transfer to everything they do
As an educational service provider that employs PE specialist teachers with QTS, WTSSP appreciate the flexibility required when working collaboratively with schools and have staff and delivery plans that are adaptable with school life. This supports their delivery in being integrated seamlessly into school development.
Since its inauguration in 2001, the partnership has been providing educational and strategic support to its schools. Support packages are updated annually in line with the changing climate in PE and School Sport, as well as ensuring we meet the needs of schools to the highest standard. Provision is inclusive of all young people, ensuring that every child has equal opportunity to engage in PE, school sport, competition and leadership.
One of two host sites for the national School Games strategy in Ealing and since its introduction in 2011, WTSSP have consistently achieved very highly against the expected outcomes, exceeding National KPIs for the programme.
WTSSP are also a Barclays Girls Football School Partnership, supporting the FA in their mission for girls to have equal access to football by 2024. The partnership ensure schools are able to access all of the amazing resources and CPD available with this programme, supporting schools in achieving equal access through girls’ only intra and inter-school competitions and signposting local pathway opportunities for girls to develop and progress in football and sport.
